The general aim of this workshop is to train educators in the use of theatrical and expressive techniques, to guide them and let them rediscover the potential of their personal and creative language. These paths will pass on some practical means from theater to educators with a focus on exercises and games that can be used in different situations in working with relationships, emotions, self-concept, shyness, attention, sociality, etc. In parallel with the practical activities, there will also be a theoretical part dealing with theater pedagogy.
Theater pedagogy is a tool that enables us to open hitherto unknown forms of communication, and which can develop new and surprising forms of expression.

You have the option to purchase both a workshop and a performance for your institutions. The performance "The Magical Travelers" ( De Magiske Rejsende) is about two siblings who have stolen their parents' car. They come from Italy, but another language is not a limit to establish new friendships in the place where they arrive. With fun games, songs and dance, they will begin to play and interact with the audience of children and find lots of friends to play with. "The Magical Travelers" is a short interactive performance of 30 minutes for children from 3 to 10 years.
About Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni
Since 2019, Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni have been part of Theatre meetings (Teatermøder) at children's height - culture for and with children in daycares' in Holstebro. They have held workshops in many different institutions. Through the project, the two actors have had the opportunity to meet hundreds of children and their educators. Here they pass on theater tools associated with theater pedagogy that can be used in the daily pedagogical work with the children. Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni are actors, directors and teachers.
The children were very engaged in the performance and laughed out loud. Afterwards, they talked a lot about you. As one 4-year-old boy said: 'If I could write to them, I would ask them if they would come back to us again.
