The Island of Morel: An engaging and fascinating exchange week has come to an end.

Colombian students from the Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros spent a week here at the theater with lots of training, learning, meetings with local youth and a great strengthening of their unity.

The group of talented Colombian students from the Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros embarked on an incredible journey with their "The Island of Morel", a production inspired by Adolfo Bioy Casares' famous novel. The performance delved into deep themes of identity, memory and the limits of reality and left the audience spellbound.

During their intensive week at the theatre, the students had an extraordinary opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world of theater and music led by the two experienced theater educators Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni, as well as to explore the rich heritage of our surroundings.

Throughout the week, students have participated in a wide range of workshops and collaborative activities, fully embracing the chance to learn and grow as budding artists.

We wish the students and their teachers a safe trip home, and we hope to see them again one day – perhaps as new stars gracing the stages of theaters around the world, sharing their passion and talent with audiences far and wide. May your artistic journeys continue to flourish, and may you always find inspiration in the magic of performance art.
