THE NIGHT IS MADE OF GLASS by Teatret st. tv

Youthful lust, emerging sexuality, and coincidences at a party turn Naja's life upside down. One day, a popular girl in 9th grade, the next, a first-class whore. It all begins Monday morning during class in the middle of a presentation about 1938's Night of Broken Glass.

"... I look up into the sky. The night is made of glass. Glass that shatters in the dark, mostly in the dark, right before I go to sleep... It's all because I put on those pants. The ones with the stars. If I hadn't worn those, then Lucas would have never made that butt-star-schnapps. Caro says that I have to pretend like it's nothing. Lucas the asshole suffers from 5-star jealousy. Which makes sense when you're an asshole! If only I had had my first kiss with Jonas... and not Rasmus. Then the rumours wouldn't have started. And then I would've never had that party. The party was a mistake. On a scale of one to ten, this mistake was a thousand. If it wasn't for that party, Caro would still be my best friend. And Jonas might've been my boyfriend? But now, Jonas has reported me for being violent..."

This is a guest performance at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, as part of being a primary networking stage for Turnenetværk Danmark.

It is a wonderful text and the chemistry between the two actors is lush.

The quick comebacks between two teenage friends, Naja and Caro, hit just right (...) The staging makes the young actors appear even more natural, which creates a certain authenticity in a rather dramatic story.
