The general aim of this workshop is to train teachers in the use of theatrical and expressive techniques, to guide them and let them rediscover the potential of their personal and creative language. These paths will pass on some practical means from theatre to educators, focusing on exercises and games that can be used in different situations when working with emotions, self-perception, shyness, attention, sociality, etc. In parallel with the practical activities, there will also be a theoretical part dealing with theatre pedagogy.
Theatre pedagogy is a tool that enables us to open up previously unknown forms of communication and develop new and surprising forms of expression.
About Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni
Since 2019, Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni have been part of "Theatre meetings at children's height - culture for and with children in daycare centres" in Holstebro. They have organised workshops in many different institutions. Through the project, the two actors have had the opportunity to meet hundreds of children and their pedagogues. Here they have passed on theatre tools associated with theatre pedagogy that can be used in the daily pedagogical work with the children.
