Marens Breakfast takes place on:
10th, 11th, 12th, 13th og 14th of June from 10.00-10.30 at Det Gamle Rådhus.
Five noons during The Festive Week 2024 invites you to exciting and educational cultural experiences, at this time centered around the sculpture, Kvinde på kærre, by the Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti, more commonly known by the townsfolk as Maren.
The kindergarten level students as well a first graders of the Holstebro commune are especially invited to enjoy their pre-packed breakfast alongside Maren – though, Marens breakfast is not something edible, but rather something that affects the other senses. There will be singing, music, dancing, reading, and other types of entertainment suitable for children, brought to you by a handful of the city’s cultural institutions. Maren will be at the center of this as a symbol for the city’s culture and will thereby be having culture for breakfast with all those interested.
Every noon is different and offers new experiences, so that adults and children can enjoy the events and be intrigued every day.
Skilled mediators and storytellers will with guarantee enchant the city’s children and secure a lovely beginning to the rest of the culture filled days.
Everyone is welcome at MargensMorgenMad and there is no entrance fee.
