In a world where we are more closely connected than ever, loneliness has taken a new shape. It creeps its way into our lives, hides behind screens, between train seats and in the dark corners of our towns. But what if we could do something about it? What if we could shape our environment into something that can counter this invisible force?
"Loneliness is a Monster" (original Danish: Ensomhed er et Monster) is an interactive performance that explores how space and transportation could be the key to breaking down the walls that exist between us. The show invites the audience into a world where loneliness is no longer something to fear, but instead something to change and overcome.
The show is part of the EU-project Age Against The Machine, where 5 EU countries participated to raise awareness of loneliness and ageism.
