Concert with the critically acclaimed songwriter Julie Maria

Join us for an amazing afternoon concert with the talented Julie Maria, and warm-up with students from MGK.

Julie Maria and 'Places and People' have teamed up with six unique cultural institutions in Central and Western Jutland. In a community-building collaboration, they present our important cultural heritage in visually beautiful settings with music as a cohesive force.

Julie Maria: “I traveled around and experienced the culture alive at these six magnificent art sites, felt which songs resonated with their unique expression and these works have come out of that. I couldn't dream of a more beautiful setting in which to unfold my new songs".

Julie Maria has recorded six different music videos in connection with the project, all of which can be viewed at Julie Marias website.

In connection with the project, Julie Maria recorded a live session here at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium with cinematographer Uffe Birk.
