The American company Human Can A/S has been experimenting on cryogenically frozen people since the 1970s, with the hopes of thawing them later and letting them live on in the future.
Now, the company is ready to showcase the first-ever thawed human. Human can A/S are ahead of the game and would like to welcome people to see for themselves at their conference. Human Can A/S gives people a physical example of eternal life and guides the audience through the journey towards achieving eternal life.
The experimental multi-artist, Villads Bugge Bang, has developed this show in collaboration with Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, showcasing how the act of being thawed can affect humans, our perception of time, and our expectations. On the stage, Villads is joined by the Belgian performer, Ward: together, they step into a world that combines past, present, and future, playing with the possibilities of eternal life. Human can? Yes, we can!
The performance is an in-house production at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium.
Human Can will be playing at Aveny-T on May 22nd as part of the CPH Stage Festival.
