For this showcase, we invite you to our workspace so you can see how art is made. This is not a completed performance, but rather an opportunity to see the process behind developing theatre. It is free, but you do need to register for the event.

For the performance, the audience is encouraged to move, wander around, and inhabit the space. This is not a spectacle; it is a temporary community.

We invite you all to participate in a radical act of togetherness, a celebration as ritual, research, and rebellion. Here, eating becomes choreography. Celebration becomes a survival tactic. Old myths dissolve into new mythologies, while the present whithers and grows anew in abundance.

The piece uses ruin, decay, and necessary collapse as fertile soil.

With immersive soundscapes, pulsating light fixtures, and shifting spatial constellations, the piece navigates the tension between erosion and illumination.

A slow rave of memories.

This is a sensory and political act that insists on intimacy through a ceremonial collapse.

We invite you all to a gathering of joy and collective creative imagination in a time of separation and acceleration.

The party becomes an archive.

We propose joy as radical technology.

About the process

This work was created under the EU project iCoDaCo and is the culmination of a 15-week residency developed over 2 years. It is a mix of artists, bodies, rituals, and shared performances. The process has unfolded all over Denmark in collaboration with Open Stage, BIRCA, Holdstebro Dansekompagni, and Metropolis, and has brought together a wide range of artists and interdisciplinary practices.

iCoDaCo is based at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium as a residency programme and has carried out its work in the White Room throughout the duration of the course.
