This performance takes place on Tuesday 11th of June at 11.00.
”FRA LANDSBY TIL KULTURBY”, translates to “From village to cultural city”, is the main event of the unique Straw Colosseum. Here the 750yearlong history of Holstebro will be told, and its development from village into a trading city and cultural city will be portrayed by actors, a circus artist and horses.
As a member of the audience, you will take part in a hundred yearlong journey, and will also get a taste of what it means to be an audience member in an amazing theater room, where everything is possible just like in the original Colosseum of Rome, Italy. You will get the opportunity to experience how floods and fires are illustrated and how it becomes an experience for your senses.
It will be an interactive and teachable experience for people of all ages.
