Tiahes Thiaharaja came to Denmark from Sri Lanka in 1988, and now lives in Holstebro.
She is trained as a Bharatanatyam dancer - a South Indian narrative dance. It is a 12-year dance education where body language, hand movements, facial expressions and understanding of rhythm are important for the dance's narrative.
Tiahes will lead a dance workshop in South Indian dance and give some insight into which hand movements, facial expressions and body language are used in the dance.
