On 13th of June from 16.00-18.00 this workshop invites you into the world of Greenlandic culture to explore the theatrical art of Greenlandic mask dancing, a vibrant and expressive form of performance traditions created in the 1980’ies as to reclaim cultural practices that were banned.
Participants will learn about the symbolic meanings behind the masks and the elements of the dance. You will create your own mask and try the dance.
