Closing the Gap is an ENCC programme aiming at building bridges between socio-cultural centres and local policy. It addresses the creation of fruitful and potentially transforming cooperation between socio-cultural centres and local governments.
One of the Programme’s key action is the organization of six roundtables in different European Countries, gathering cultural centres and local cultural actors, local authorities and international guests to discuss and share challenges and best practices, as well as study visits and matchmaking initiatives.
The third roundtable of Closing the Gap programme will hosted by the ENCC member Nordisk Theaterlaboratorium in Holstebro, Denmark, on Friday the 23rd of February 2024.

Speakers
Piet Forger has been the head of the department for cultural affairs at the city of Leuven, Belgium since 2015. He is the initiator and vice president of Vitamine C, a Flanders-based network of cultural professionals.
Irene Ropolo is involved in co-creation of European projects and, in particular, in systematising skills, knowledge, opportunities and objectives.
Kristian Krog is the managing director and co-founder of the independent Danish cultural centre Maltfabrikken. For the last 15 years he has played a central role in transforming an abandoned factory into an international institution.
