Songwriters in a Box - Mirja Klippel (FI) and Signe Stücker (DK)

Songwriters In A Box is a concept that has existed since 2012, originally started by Holstebro Music School teacher Maria Guttesen, who acts as booker and host.

There are 6-8 annual double concerts in Holstebro, featuring an established artist and a young local talent. The concerts have been held in spaces such as Black Box and Subhuset.

Songwriters In A Box is a format that focuses on songwriting and original music and has had guest artists from all over the world, including Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Germany and the USA.

For the first time, we are doing our concert at the NTL. We look forward to introducing Mirja Klippel from Finland and Signe Stüker who is our local name.

Mirja Klippel

With a great voice, a heartfelt sound universe and a talent for writing songs that connect deeply personal experiences with images of Nordic nature, the Finnish singer-songwriter Mirja Klippel has emerged as a special talent on the alternative folk scene.

Signe Stücker

Signe's lyrics and melodies have an honest and present tone, which together with her beautiful light voice reminds us of the true Danish folk/pop vibe.

Doors open at 19.30 - concert starts at 20.00
